Dr. Adnan Cheema is an orthopedic surgeon for North American Medical Associates, specializing in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery and sports medicine. 

Dr. Cheema completed his fellowship in Upper Extremity Reconstruction/Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. 

Dr. Cheema received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He then completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

While at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Dr. Cheema received the Joseph P. Ianotti Award for Excellence in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He is a member of the the American Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon Society, The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society. 

Before becoming a physician, Dr. Cheema grew up in Lawrenceville, NJ. He teaches resident and medical students at Jefferson Health New Jersey and Rowan School of Medicine.
